The festival takes place at Jules B-Part am Gleisdreieck, Luckenwalder Straße 6b, 10963 Berlin (Kreuzberg). The nearest stations are U Gleisdreieck (U1/U3) and U Möckernbrücke (U1/U3/U7), both within a 10-minute walk.

Doors open at 12:00 on Saturday, November 7. The full programme runs until 22:30, with outdoor music wrapping at 22:00 in line with venue rules.

Diwali in Berlin is Berlin's biggest night of Indian culture — a full day of love, light and laughter. The programme includes an opening diya ceremony, classical Bharatanatyam and Kathak, sitar and tabla, live Bollywood-fusion dance, dhol drums, stand-up comedy, open-mic karaoke, a Bhangra × Dandiya circle, a closing Bollywood party, and a curated Indian street-food market. Organised by Wedesi Berlin at Jules B-Part am Gleisdreieck in Kreuzberg on Saturday, November 7, 2026. This is the fifth consecutive edition.

The day opens with a traditional diya lighting, followed by a sitar and tabla ensemble, live Bollywood-fusion dance showcases, Bollywood karaoke, dhol drums, stand-up comedy, Dandiya and Bhangra, and a bass-heavy Bollywood party DJ set to close the night. Full programme on the /lineup page.

Yes. The evening opens the dance floor with a Bollywood, Bhangra, and Punjabi hits DJ set. Bass-heavy, feel-good, nobody sits down. The floor stays open until the last slot ends.

Seven Indian and South Asian kitchens serve across the day: North Indian tandoor and curry plus a full mithai bar at Anand, Nepali momos and noodles at Momo Station, Gujarati snacks at Thiyas Global, chaat at Spice Chutney, Mumbai street and Indo-Chinese at Khaugalli, South Indian dosa and curry at Curry Junction, and samosas at Samosa Club. Vegetarian options across the lineup. Food is pay-as-you-go on the day. Both card and cash accepted.

Yes. Every kitchen has vegetarian dishes: chole bhature and veg curry (Anand), veg and vegan momo (Momo Station), undhiyu and thepla (Thiyas Global), dabeli and sev puri (Spice Chutney), vada pav, pav bhaji and manchurian (Khaugalli), masala and paneer dosa (Curry Junction), samosas (Samosa Club), plus the full mithai bar at Anand. Vegan and gluten-free options are called out where relevant.

Yes. Card and cash are both accepted at most vendors. Bring a small amount of cash as backup.

Yes. Kids under 16 go free. Bring the whole family. A dedicated kids' zone runs all day with crafts, rangoli painting, and hands-on activities made for younger visitors.

Yes. Dogs are welcome on a lead. Please bring water and be mindful of the drums during peak performance moments.

It's a mixed indoor and outdoor festival. Jules B-Part am Gleisdreieck has covered indoor space alongside open-air areas, so the event runs rain or shine, which matters for a November Saturday in Berlin.

Take the U1 or U3 to Gleisdreieck (a 7-minute walk) or the U1/U3/U7 to Möckernbrücke (also within walking distance). Parking is limited, so public transport is strongly recommended.

Yes. B-Part has a cloakroom where you can store bags and jackets. Travel light and leave valuables at home.

Bring an appetite, shoes you can dance in, and a little cash as backup. Dress warmly for November; indoor areas are heated, but you'll want a jacket between sets.

No door policy, no dress code. Traditional Indian wear is celebrated but not expected. Come as you are. Alle sind willkommen.
